Michael D. Lee named new president of Weeks Medical Center

 

LANCASTER — Weeks Medical Center and North Country Healthcare announced the appointment of Michael D. Lee as the new president of Weeks Medical Center. Lee will assume leadership of the 25-bed critical access hospital and its four physicians office locations in September. Lee will replace CEO Scott Howe, who is retiring.

Lee comes to Weeks with experience in healthcare strategic planning and management, budget creation, financial analysis, teambuilding, customer service, and quality assurance. Since 2012 he has served as chief human resource officer and other interim roles for Adirondack Health in Saranac Lake, N.Y.
