PITTSBURG — On Saturday, Aug. 15, at approximately 12:10 p.m., New Hampshire Fish and Game was notified of an ATV crash with serious injury on Cedar Stream Road in Pittsburg. Pittsburg Fire and EMS, 45th Parallel EMS and a conservation officer responded to the scene of the crash.

Due to the severity of the injuries, a request for the DHART Helicopter was initiated. With the help of Pittsburg Fire and EMS along with 45th Parallel EMS, the patient was transported to Murphy Dam to await the helicopter. The involved operator, a juvenile, was then flown to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center to be further evaluated and treated for his injuries.
