Wound Healing Center at Weeks Medical Center recognized with two national awards

Physicians and clinicians from the Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Center at Weeks Medical Center gathered recently to celebrate receiving two national awards for excellence in wound care. LANCASTER — The Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Center at Weeks Medical Center was recently presented with the Robert A. Warriner III, MD, Center of Excellence Award and the Center of Distinction Award for excellence in wound care services.

The wound healing center achieved a patient satisfaction rate higher than 92 percent and a healing rate of at least 91 percent in less than 30 median days to heal, for a minimum of two consecutive years. The center also achieved overall outstanding clinical outcomes for 12 consecutive months.
