If you are on a Medicare Advantage Plan and live in Carroll County, big changes are coming. Your plan will end on Dec 31. This means that you will need to take action to keep coverage in place. For 2026, you’ll need to consider a Medicare Supplement and a Part D Prescription Drug plan. 

There is good news. A special enrollment period is in place for everybody affected by plan cancellations. It lasts until Feb. 28, 2026. Everybody in this situation will receive a letter from their health plan outlining their termination. But, let’s be honest. Not everybody will read their letter.
