GROVETON — To help friends and neighbors avoid down-to-the-wire holiday stress, the Groveton Thrift Shop is offering a half price sale on winter clothing and festive holiday tableware from Wednesday, Nov. 16, through noon on Saturday, Nov. 19. In preparation for the sale, the clothing racks and shelves are well stocked with warm jackets, coats, sweaters, shirts, blouses and pants in every size. Among the half price clothing for babies, toddlers and kids are many irresistible items. Included in the sale is everything required to set a festive holiday table from candlesticks, dishes, platters and glassware to cutlery, table mats, tablecloths and napkins.
This is also a good opportunity to find warm boots and other sturdy footwear in many sizes as well as ski boots, skis and skates at bargain prices although not included in the half price sale. In preparation for an icy winter, the Shop offers a selection of sturdy walking sticks and a pair of crutches.
