LANCASTER — The Friends of the Weeks Memorial Library in cooperation with the library’s Genealogy Club will present an afternoon of programming on genetic genealogy on Sunday, May 4 beginning at 2 p.m.

The first presentation will be from 2-3 p.m. genealogical researcher Robert Cameron Weir will provide an introduction to DNA. He will discuss how it is passed down the family tree, what kinds of DNA tests are available, what kinds of genealogical questions a DNA test can answer and privacy concerns.
