SHELBURNE -- Constance P. Leger, 89, of 881 North Rd., Shelburne, passed away on Tuesday morning Jan. 13, 2009 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin.

She was born in Portland, Me. on June 28, 1919, the daughter of Lawrence E. and Helen M. (Day) Philbrook and attended the Shelburne Village School, Gould Academy and the University of Maine at Orono where she obtained a Bachelors Degree.
