An application for fiscal year 2008 payment of the State Filtration Grant was mailed to the state Department of Environmental Services on June 7. The requested payment is for $234,531 and expected to be received by the Berlin Water Works by the end of July or August.

The water commissioners FY 2008 budget provided for an expected payment for the above amount.
