MILAN -- Mrs. Alberta (Woodward) Johnson, 95, formerly of Milan Hill Road, Milan, passed away on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 24, 2007 at the Coos County Nursing Home surrounded by family members. She was born in Dummer on June 13, 1911, the daughter of Fred and Althea (Hawkins) Woodward and had lived her entire life in Dummer and Milan. Prior to entering the nursing home, Alberta was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Berlin, the Emily Flint Rebekah Lodge and the Order of Eastern ...MILAN -- Mrs. Alberta (Woodward) Johnson, 95, formerly of Milan Hill Road, Milan, passed away on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 24, 2007 at the Coos County Nursing Home surrounded by family members. Prior to entering the nursing home, Alberta was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Berlin, the Emily Flint Rebekah Lodge and the Order of Eastern Star. She had attended Berlin High School and Gould Academy in Bethel, Me.
Members of the family include a daughter, Mrs.Clifford (Emily) Tankard of Milan; a son, Donald Johnson of Berlin; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Emil Johnson, in 1968.
