Going into my 30s, I had a lot of expectations about what my life should look like. Between the overall pressure of society and the in-your-face pressure of social media, it was like some time bomb was just ticking away as I inched closer and closer to my thirtieth birthday. Once I finally made it there, I felt relieved to just have it over with. And surprise, surprise: nothing exploded.
