GORHAM — Set back a bit from Route 2 between Shelburne and Gorham, a 68-year-old business continues to welcome guests from near and far, with genuine hospitality from the moment people enter through its doors and step up to the front desk.
The Town & Country Inn and Resort known also as the Town & Country or the T&C, remains independently owned and operated since it opened for business in 1956. That year, as noted on its website, townandcountryinn.com, “Ralph “Navy” Labnon purchased the Androscoggin Valley Country Club House from the Brown Company. This property had formerly been known as the Hitchcock Farm.”
