BERLIN — The U.S. Bankruptcy Court of Delaware has approved the property tax settlement between the city of Berlin and Burgess BioPower and the city has withdrawn its motion seeking to compel payment of outstanding past-due property taxes.

Justice Laurie Selber Silverstein approved the settlement on Tuesday, Feb.25, ruling the agreement was negotiated and entered into in good faith.” Silverstein added that the agreement was fair and “in the best interests of the debtors and their estates.”
