BERLIN-- On Tuesday, Dec. 9, starting at 7 p.m. St. Kieran Center for the Arts in Berlin presents a special event, "It's a Wonderful Life Live," from WVL Radio Theatre.

This 1940s radio style adaptation of Frank Capra's film classic is a guaranteed holiday winner. For those who remember the flashing applause signs and smaltzy organ music from radio stations of old, it's a refreshing step back in time. Younger audiences are enchanted with the glimpse of entertainment the way it was before telephones came equipped with television. The four-member company masterfully conquers multiple characters and sound effect while saving their station from a winter blizzard's doom. A heartwarming, uplifting gift for audiences with a custom localized radio commercial.
