Some Nice Holiday Pet Events

 

Some people say that their animals understand English. We at the Phoenix don’t recommend spending so much time in the company of no one except your dog or cat that you come to believe that a meow equates to Hamlet’s “To Be or Not To Be” speech, but let’s imagine, just for a second. Rock & roll, for example. What if, and this isn’t too unlikely, they played 'BLM in certain animal shelters in southern Maine, and Tom Petty’s “Refugee” came on in the cage region from time to time. These Shakespeare-quoting felines and canines, when they heard, “Everybody’s got to fight to be free,” would certainly get around to using their extra-sharp teeth to pick the locks of their kennels and come running to you, as the most likely loving pet owner in the area, right?
