Inside Out introspection: Pixar triumphs with mind-searching study

 

Over the span of 15 movies, Pixar Animation has personified toys, insects, rats, fish, cars, monsters and robots. Now, with Inside Out we learn that feelings have feelings, too.

Inside Out, which looks at the inner workings of the mind, marks a return to form for Pixar. The computer animation company has yet to make an outright bad movie, but its last few — Cars 2, Brave and Monsters University — were not quite up the excellence that preceded them.
