The 2026 Harvest Hills Mixed Doubles Tennis Tournament was held on Sunday, Sept. 20 at Bridgton Highlands. The strong draw consisted of 10 teams with a total of 20 players. The tennis players were racing against the clock to try and get their matches in before the impending rain. With the tournament down to the semi-finals and finals, the rain started to fall, but luckily Bridgton Highlands was equipped with two pro clay courts this year, that along with the determination of the players, the tournament was completed.
In the top half of the main draw, Mill Brown and Katie Brown reached the finals with a victory over Sherri and Dave Bernier. Their opponents were John Waldie and Maya Milic-Strkalj, who battled past Carol Kelley and David Chaffee. Waldie and Milic-Strkalj were able to come away with the victory as the rain intensified.
