HARRISON — With help from the Lakes Environmental Association (LEA) and other partners, the Town of Harrison just completed two stream-crossing upgrades on Edes Falls Road and Carsley Road.

These projects were on Carsley Brook, which is a major tributary to Long Lake. The previous culverts at both sites were severely undersized, causing erosion and sediment to run into the brook and downstream Long Lake during large storms, and were a barrier to brook trout and other native fish.
