Drivers will face delays and some might need to alter their travel route due to bridge work in Bridgton.

Starting this Monday, July 6, replacement of the Cornshop bridge over Stevens Brook on Depot Street begins, thus closing off that section of roadway. Brian Emmons of T Buck Construction of Turner informed the town Tuesday that Depot Street will remain closed for 145 days, and be reopened by Thanksgiving. Estimated cost of the project according to the MDOT website is $3.17 million.
