To The Editor:

When I was young and Eisenhower was president, Democrats were different then. Adlai Stevenson was the Democrat candidate for president against Eisenhower. The two men were not so different in temperament and demeaner, but differed in Constitutional interpretation of government’s role in society and the economy. Eisenhower followed the Founder’s Constitution while Stevenson followed the Wilsonian living constitution theory.
