Missing Penny

To The Editor:

While still experiencing the loss of Allen Crabtree and his great leadership, we were saddened to hear of the passing of his devoted wife, Penny. Penny dedicated many volunteer hours to the Senior College at Bridgton and its Board of Directors. Participating on various committees, Penny arranged for speakers, helped with curriculum, organization, nominations, and publicity. She was witty, strong minded and a great support person. For about a year, she took on the leadership role of Head Chairperson, a demanding job. We all miss this resourceful, strong leader who donated so much time and energy to the Bridgton and Sebago communities. She approached everything with a positive attitude and a smile.
