CL w3 rev michael ambler

Rev. Michael Ambler will be at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Bridgton this Sunday, Jan. 18, explaining the work of Restoration Laos.

During the Vietnam War, 270 million explosives were dropped in Laos, making Laos the most-heavily bombed country in history on a per-capita basis. Around 78 million explosives failed to detonate and are still a daily danger to children and adults across the country.

Rev. Michael Ambler will be preaching at 10 a.m. services at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Bridgton this Sunday, Jan. 18, explaining the work of Restoration Laos. Restoration Laos funds a locally-trained bomb squad that rushes to houses, farms, and villages that have found bombs to render them safe before they can mail or kill people.
