Aperto Fine Art (Main Street, Bridgton) presents From Pictures to Poems, a poetry writing workshop! Let your imagination run wild as you write poems based on your reactions to artworks at Bridgton’s Aperto Fine Art gallery. 

Join Maine poets Drew Sanborn, author of Beauty, Faith, and Hard-Won Grace, and Katherine Hagopian Berry, author of Land Trust, Orbit, and Mast Year, for an afternoon of inspiration. Experienced, novice, and brand-new poets all are welcome! This workshop will make space for both writing and reflection, with the opportunity to leave with at least one workshopped poem. Donations appreciated, and poets will have books for sale at the event.
