Howdy neighbor!

Lately, through my work in the archives of the Fryeburg Historical Society, I have had the pleasure of reading through the back archives of several old country newspapers hailing from townships slightly farther afield than my native Bridgton. What a pleasure it is to peruse the files of such old standbys as the Oxford County Advertiser and the Bethel Courier, those 19th century weekly chronicles of northern Oxford County, from which I am already cooking up a whole stew of new columns and presentations for the coming year.
