Howdy neighbor!

Just last weekend at the wonderful Bridgton Farmers’ Market, I had the pleasure of sitting down to enjoy breakfast in the shade with only a pint of fresh summer strawberries for company, courtesy of my good friends over at Patch Farm in Denmark. At the risk of sounding over-indulgent, dear reader, I daresay my only regret is that I did not spring for a whole quart. If you’ve not had fresh, local strawberries yet this year, then do not wait another moment but get yourself out to the farms and roadside fruit stands and find some while you can; now is the time when they are in season, and now alone is when they are best.
