ICE OUT is one of the paintings to be exhibited by Shelley Pilsbury at the Lovell Historical Society.

 

LOVELL — The Lovell Historical Society is hosting a retrospective exhibition of works by Shelley Pilsbury of Lovell. The artist’s reception will be held on Sunday, July 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. Refreshments will be provided, catered by Pleasant Point Inn. 

Shelley Pilsbury has held a lifelong passion for art, particularly oil painting, culminating in her attendance at the Syracuse School of Art with a major in oil painting. After receiving her degree, Shelley took up a corporate occupation as a way to pay off her student loans, but her love for art always remained. Now, upon entering retirement, Shelley’s spark for painting has been reignited.
