Berlin High School held its 2018 Homecoming this past week, with float-making, a pep rally, parade (long-time educator Susan Griffin was the grand marshall), a bonfire, the Tony Urban Memorial Highway Dedication, and a flag dedication posthumously to Brenda Wallace (long-time teacher in Berlin School system), culminating in athletic contests on Saturday, including a cross country meet, a field hockey game and two soccer games, and a Homecoming dance on Saturday Night.

Before I highlight the games, I must say to all who spent the past week involved with all of the preparations, etc., for the annual event, thank you for making it a fabulous weekend. And fabulous it was, complete with picture perfect weather conditions, in a picturesque setting at the beautiful Mike Gaydo Field/Maurice Wheeler Track, with good food, good fellowship, a great crowd and excellent competition in all events.
