Dan Brigham
This picture was taken at a recently held Berlin-Gorham Cal Ripken Baseball Game at Community Field.  The gentleman with the white hair and red jacket is none other than former Berlin High School student athlete and alumni, and very long-time Berlin High varsity baseball coach, Dan Brigham. Great to see him still involved as a mentor to the players and coaches regarding the great game of baseball. (STEVE ENMAN PHOTO)

I probably shouldn't even go there but I will: A big pet peeve of mine is when some professional athletes call the people who own and run the teams they play on, "big, fat, old, white men/slave owners," when those same owners pay some of those players' up to and beyond $30,000,000 per year to "play" a game. That adds up to $82,191.78 per day and $2,500,000 per month.

I would have loved to have played and worked for those guys anytime.
