Sept. 22 hearing in Gorham for bike, pedestrian enhancements

GORHAM — A Sept. 22 public hearing regarding Main Street bike and pedestrian improvements in the town of Gorham will begin at 5 p.m. in the Medallion Opera House, 20 Park St. As noted on the town’s website, gorhamnh.gov, “the purpose of this meeting is to provide a general overview of the project and receive input from the general public before the Town begins the formal design and engineering process.” Attendance at the meeting would be appreciated. A public hearing is required as federal funds are being used for the bike and pedestrian betterments.
