Congratulations to long-time athlete, coach, teacher, mentor, friend etc. Patty Hood, for being named the Sylvia Evans Award recipient, “for her work improving the lives of women and young people.”

If you haven’t had a chance to read the article in the Sun’s April 3 edition, get a copy and check it out. It was a pleasure and honor to have known Patty since the PSC days, and to have taught and coached in the Berlin School System at various levels with her since the late 1970s.
