CONWAY — Semi-professional hockey is coming to the Ham Arena, but there has yet to be a Yeti sighting. The Union Hockey League announced on its Facebook page last week that the Conway Yetis Hockey Club was one of four new franchises to join the 16-team league, which plans to play a 32-game season starting in January.

The Union Hockey League, its website says, is “a senior ‘A’ semi-pro hockey league,” and with the addition of the Yetis and three other new clubs, plans to run a 16-team league with games from the midwest to the east.”
