To the editor:

Where do we begin? So many people/businesses in our community contributed to RiverFire's resounding success. RiverFire was made possible because of the many volunteers who have been meeting and planning for months. Thank you to all these volunteers for putting in countless hours and for your dedication to RiverFire. Thank you to Mike Caron of Caron Building Center for the all the pallets and for the boom truck lent to us on the Saturday before RiverFire, it was a huge help. Thank you to the Gorham Mill and Gene Marois for their perennial gathering and provision of pallets for the fires. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped to put the pallets and kindling on the boom piers. Thank you to the thousands of people who joined us on Saturday, it wouldn't be an event without you. More than ever, it is important to thank our sponsors who support our community by sponsoring worthy community events such as RiverFire. Our Sponsors are: AutoNorth Pre-Owned Superstore, Berlin BetterBuildings, Couture Construction, Brookfield Power, Northway Bank, Chapman Container, Aerial Site Communications, Guardian Angel Credit Union, Bank of NH, Personal Touch Homecare, Great North Woods Container Service, P & L Auto and Remax. Your involvement in our community is the key to our success.
