To the editor:

I am aware that I may be viewed by some readers as an interloper since I am a retired football coach from Middlebury, Vt., presently living in a truck camper for a month while volunteering with the Obama campaign in Coos county. (Vermont is solid Obama country, and New Hampshire, according to the polls is up for grabs.)
