Over the past several weeks, I have spent time in communities across the North Country in a series of community listening sessions. I want to begin by thanking everyone who took the time to attend, speak candidly, and share both concerns and hopes for the future of healthcare in our region.

These were not easy conversations, and they weren’t meant to be. Community members asked thoughtful, direct questions. They shared personal experiences, frustrations, and moments of both gratitude and disappointment. Healthcare is deeply personal, especially in small communities, and when people speak openly about their experiences, they are trusting us with something that matters. I take that responsibility seriously.
