The New Hampshire Supreme Court’s decision finding the current administration of the Statewide Education Property Tax (SWEPT) constitutional contradicts earlier decisions by the court on similar issues.

What the court said Tuesday in its decision is if the state Department of Revenue Administration sets the same SWEPT rate for every community, that is enough to declare it constitutional.
