There is something about a four-season climate that teaches you not to waste summer.

Maybe it is because we know what is coming. We know the long winters, the gray slush months, the muddy thaw, and the weeks where darkness settles before dinner. We know that summer is temporary here. Fleeting. A season you can almost feel slipping through your fingers while it is still happening.
