BERLIN — Brent Patry, formerly of Berlin, was recently honored with a Quilt of Valor in recognition of his years of service to the United States Marine Corps and his commitment to serving his country.

Patry, currently stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C., has served in the Marine Corps since 2006 and now serves on active duty as a master sergeant (E-8). In addition to his military service at Camp Lejeune, he has also served in Japan and Afghanistan, including service during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
