To the editor:

I can't stay silent after reading the drivel written by Elizabeth Ruediger! The byline "The damage has been done to the unity of this once great nation", taken from her own words is akin to a child taking a temper tantrum because she didn't get her own way in the toy aisle at Walmart! To suggest that this nation is no longer great because of the election result she is not happy with casts a pall on the tireless work of those amongst us who work tirelessly to ease human suffering, the soldier who sacrifices everything defending this Nation and the First Responders who risk their very lives making this country great every day!
