Public Service of N.H. customers in Berlin, Milan, and Gorham were without power for two hours Thursday night after a tree came down and knocked out some utility lines on the East MIlan Road. The outage began at approximately 10:30 p.m. Thursday and power was restored at 12:30 a.m. Friday.

PSNH spokesman Mike Skelton said a significant number of customers, about 10,000, were impacted because of the vicinity of the outage to the substation serving the communities in that area.
