The Milan Board of Selectmen has appointed a new selectman to fill the position turned down by write-in candidate winner Ernie Miner who was elected to a three-year term.

Greg Meserve, a resident of Milan and a teacher at the NH Community Techincal College in Berlin, was appointed Monday night to serve a one year term.
