BERLIN — Northern Biogas, the company hired to build and own a landfill gas-to-energy plant at the Mount Carberry landfill, has been given another month to complete an initial $10 million payment to the Androscoggin Valley Regional Refuse Disposal District.

It is the third extension of time for the payment. A spokesman for Northern Biogas said the company remains committed to the renewable natural gas project.
