In First Circuit Court, District Division, Berlin, on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020, the following cases were heard:

Shawn Lettre, 47, 25 Peavey St., Berlin, was found guilty of two charges of resisting arrest/detention and ordered to pay a fine and penalty assessment of $620 on each count with $310 suspended on each count on the condition he maintains good behavior for two years. Lettre also was ordered to serve 180 days in the Coos County House of Corrections for each count with credit for one day time served and 176 days suspended on the condition he maintains good behavior for two years, to be served concurrently. Lettre will be on probation for two years with early termination after one year possible at the discretion of the probation officer. A charge of violation a city of Berlin ordinance prohibiting nuisance behavior was nolle prossed.
