GROVETON – A crowd of about 50 North Country residents turned out last Wednesday to provide public input on how the state can improve the process of siting major energy project in New Hampshire.

Meredith Hatfield, director of the state office of Energy and Planning, explained that legislation passed this year requires a study of the Site Evaluation Committee that has jurisdiction over all proposed large energy projects in the state.
