Raymond Paulin, 48, of 8 Brown Street in Berlin, turned himself in to Gorham police yesterday on a warrant charging him with theft by deception regarding a suspected counterfeit check he deposited into his account at the Laconia Savings Bank in Gorham. He was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled for an arraignment hearing in Gorham District Court on July 22, according to Captain P.J. Cyr.
