BERLIN — A 24-year-old man is charged by Berlin police with reckless conduct and 1st degree assault after an early morning shooting June 12 that left a 32-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Yarette Armondo Dones, 24, no address given, is scheduled to appear in court June 14 on the charges, police said. The injured man was taken to a local hospital and released later on June 12. Police did not identify the man who was shot nor his home address.
