DUMMER — Hearty soups are autumn's coziest comfort foods. On Saturday, Nov. 5 the Dummer Public Library is hosting its annual Harvest Soup Supper. This is a family-style dinner featuring chilis, chowders and of course soups as well as bread and desserts prepared by locals. 

The event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Town Hall building on Hill Road in Dummer. The supper is open to the public and the proceeds help support the Dummer Public Library. Donations are requested in lieu of a fee.
