BERLIN — On Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026, at 6 p.m., Scott Halvorsen and Shawn Costello of the Friends of the Nansen Ski Jump will share their knowledge of the past, present and future all things Nansen in Northern N.H. This talk will include progress on the Big Nansen restoration project and the return of competitive jumping to Nansen. This program is free and open to the public. Attendees can join in person at the White Mountains Community College Fortier Library. To attend this event remotely via Zoom, preregistration is required at wmcc.edu/library-events.
In addition, White Mountains Community College will help celebrate the Nansen Ski Club’s Winter Carnival with an exhibit of historical artifacts on display in the Fortier Library’s gallery. Items in this mixed-media exhibition are on loan from the Berlin & Coos County Historical Society as well and the Nansen Ski Club.
