BERLIN — While there won’t be black balloons and jokes about 50 being the new 40, there will be plenty to celebrate when White Mountains Community College celebrates its 50th birthday on Saturday, Oct. 29. The fundraising event will include a social hour, dinner, a silent auction and a show by comedian Juston McKinney.

The event will run from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Omni Mt. Washington Resort, Bretton Woods. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Presidential Fund, which supports student scholarships and enrollment and retention efforts.
