BERLIN — Berlin Middle School held its Grade 8 Promotion Night on June 12 for all 8th-grade students entering grade 9 at Berlin High School.

Jillian Halle and Griffin Melanson, Berlin Middle School student council representatives, began the evening with the Pledge of Allegiance. Grade 8 choral students sang the National Anthem. Halle and Melanson then began the evening with a welcome speech thanking students, staff, administration and parents for the three years spent at the middle school.
