CONCORD — Shawn Hamilton was unanimously confirmed by the Executive Council to be the new director of the N.H. Division of Parks and Recreation at last Wednesday’s Governor and Council meeting. He replaces Brian Wilson. Attending the meeting, Hamilton said he would start work Thursday, thanked the council for their support and said he plans to have his hiking boots on most days at work.
Councilor Kenney said Hamilton will be a “huge asset” for state parks.
