CONCORD — The New Hampshire Department of Safety’s Division of Motor Vehicles is advising residents that official notification letters are being mailed regarding unresolved out-of-state motor vehicle matters following the state's integration into a national record-sharing system.

On Aug. 17, New Hampshire joined 43 other U.S. states in participating in the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators Driver History Record platform. The platform enables real-time and historic electronic transfers of driving records among states, eliminating paper-based documentation delays and enhancing public safety.
